Being the oldest city of the world and an important Hindu pilgrimage center, Varanasi attracts a large number of people from all over the world. Since Varanasi is mainly associated with Hinduism, temples form the main attraction. The Ganga Ghats (river fronts) are the main center of religious activities and rituals and also form one of the main attractions of Varanasi. The Alamgir Mosque, blend of the Hindu and Mughal styles of the architecture, is another important attraction of Varanasi. Some of the most important temples of Varanasi are Durga temple, Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan temple, Tulsi Manas temple and the Bharat Mata temple. The Bharat Mata Temple houses a huge relief map of the whole of Indian subcontinent and Tibetan plateau. Other attractions of Varanasi are the Benaras Hindu University (BHU), the Archaeological Museum, Sarnath, Bharat Kala Bhavan and the Buddhist Stupas and temples at Sarnath.

DAY 03: VARANASI – KHAJURAHO by Flight

  • Check Out and Transfer to Khajuraho.


Khajuraho is well known all over the world for its temple architecture and exquisite sculptures. Situated in the heart of India in the state of Madhya Pradesh, it lies in the forested plains of the region of Bundelkhand. The Khajuraho temples were built between the 9th and 11th centuries by the warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty. However, the definite reason behind such mass scale temple construction that is now over a thousand years old remains unknown. According to local legend, these temples were built by the first Chandela raja to atone his mother's sin, whose consummation with the Moon god hearalded the start of the Chandela dynasty.

DAY 04: KHAJURAHO – JHANSI, JHANSI - AGRA by Shatabdi Train

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Check Out and Transfer to Jhanshi Railway station .
  • On the way visit Orchha
  • Board the Train from Orchha to Agra by Shatabdi Train Dep from Jhansi at 06 pm and arrive at Agra at 08.20 pm

DAY 05: AGRA

  • TAJ MAHAL:
    Completed in 1653 AD, Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan is the final resting place of his favourite Queen, Mumtaz. These perfectly symmetrical monuments set amidst landscaped gardens took 22 years (1630-1652) of hard labour and 20,000 workers, Masons and Jewellers to build. AGRA FORT:
    The great connoisseur of art, Mughal Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of the Agra Fort in 1565 A.D. SIKANDRA:
    The mausoleum of Emperor Akbar represents his philosophy and secular outlook, combining the best of Hindu and Muslim architectures in a superlative region. FATEHPUR SIKRI:
    Fatehpur Sikri is an epic in red sandstone. A city of yesteryears today lost in the mists of time. Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1564 A.D.

DAY 06: AGRA – RANTHAMBORE ( 7 hrs drive )

  • Arrive at Ranthambore.

  • Half Day Sightseeing of Ranthambore

There are many interesting spots for you to see in Ranthambore National Park.The Ranthambore National Park is regarded as the most suitable place for wildlife photography in the world.
Bakuala
National Park Ranthambore is covered with thick forest over a large part of its area. One of the thickly forested regions is called the Bakaula region. Bakaula consists of dense forest, with many small pools and water holes in clearings in the vegetation.
Kachida Valley
This valley, which consists of many rocky outcrops and low hills, is located close to the outskirts of the park. A jeep would be the ideal mode of transport when trying to visit this area. This area contains a majority of the Panther population of the park.

DAY 07: RANTHAMBORE

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Full day sightseeing of Ranthambore.

Lakarda Anantpura
These areas located in the North-Western and Northern regions of the park are ideal locations to visit if looking for Sloth Bears.
Ranthambore Fort
This fort stands majestically atop a hill overlooking the entire park. The walk up, one of the only places this mode of transport is possible, is a very refreshing and exciting one as even the big cats have been spotted up there!
Malik Talao
This is the smallest of the three lakes in Ranthambore National Park. But, as they say, all the best things come in small packages. This definitely holds true for Malik Talao. It is an area full of concentrated action all the time.

DAY 08: RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR (157 KM, 3 Hrs Drive)

  • Half Day Sightseeing of Jaipur.

 

  • Afternoon visit City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone.

DAY 09: JAIPUR

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Full day sightseeing of Jaipur.

  

  • Morning visit to Amber Fort - the palace complex which stands to this date was commenced under the reign of Raja Man Singh. We take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience.
  • After Amber Fort, Visit Jaigarh Fort -Jaigarh Fort is the most spectacular of the three-hilltop forts overlooking Jaipur city.
  • Return to hotel
  • After fresh Transfer to Delhi.

DAY 10: JAIPUR – DELHI (258 KM, 4 Hrs Drive)

  • Arrive at Delhi

  • Overnight at Hotel
  • Morning Breakfast in Hotel
  • Full Day Sightseeing of Delhi

  • Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.
  • Than visit to New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar.

DAY 11: DELHI – ONWARD JOURNEY

  • Check out and transfer to Delhi International Airport for onward joueney.
